We invite you to join us at Tiverton on Sunday 1st September 2024 for our Devon General Remembered running day, from 1000 to 1600.
Devon General Remembered at Tiverton in 2021
We last held our Devon General Remembered running day at Tiverton in 2021, and we are delighted to be returning there in 2024.
Based at Tiverton bus station, our event will feature preserved Devon General buses running free services around the town and to local destinations such as Bampton, Thorverton and Tiverton Parkway Station. There will also be an open-top bus tour. The Devon General Society sales stand will be present, selling bus books, magazines, photos and memorabilia, and our Membership stand will enable you to find out more about DGS and to join us if you wish.
A souvenir programme will be available in advance and on the day, giving details of the timetables and the buses operating them – look out for further information about this. Vehicle entries are by invitation only and owners are being contacted.
Feeder buses will run to the event from Exeter and from Tiverton Parkway Station. There is car parking available nearby and the town centre’s cafes and shops are within easy reach.
