Easter Sunday saw the first event of the DG100 celebrations in the form of a reunion of former Devon General staff on the site of the old Newton Road depot in Torquay … now an Asda store.
Easter Sunday was the only day on which this could realistically take place as the store was closed and they kindly allowed us to use their car park. Devon General double deckers CTT 513C (supplied by the Devon General Omnibus Trust) and MSJ 499 (formerly 925 GTA) (supplied by Jonathan Hawkins) were both in attendance and glorious weather no doubt encouraged a good attendance. A short trip around Torbay followed and was enjoyed by all.
